Security and Access Management Analyst

Cone Health, Greensboro, NC

June 2016 - May 2017

Job Description: Working alongside other security and access staff to facilitate permissions to file shares and applications, resolving tickets, querying SQL Server for audits and decision making, creating/transferring/deleteing users at specific points in their employment with Cone Health, etc.

Major Accomplishment: Led the MIM Automation Project, which streamlined access/denial to employees based on set criteria automatically (see Projects tab for more information).

EPIC EMR Credentialed Trainer

Cone Health, Greensboro, NC

February 2016 - May 2016

Job Description: Learning the ADT/Grand Central component of the EPIC EMR and then training hospital staff in using the software. In addition to teaching classes of doctors, nurses, and volunteers, responsibilities also included providing back-of-room support during lessons, creating and updating components for the EPIC training environments, creating and updating workflow documentation, communicating with access staff when employees had finished training to give them necessary permissions, reporting to the project lead regarding training status and concerns, etc.

Major Accomplishment: In conjunction with other trainers, I played a crucial part in bringing Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC), Cone Health's newest acquisition at the time, onto the EPIC EMR and off of their previous software. This unified ARMC and Cone Health's systems with minimal negative impact on the efficiency of hosptial staff's workflows.(see Projects tab for more information).

Digital Student Project Consultant

Digital ACT Studio at UNCG, Greensboro, NC

August 2015 - May 2017

Job Description: Assisting students with digital projects including, but not limited to, web development, PowerPoint presentations, Photoshop documents, 3D printing models and schematics, video editing software, application planning and development, etc. In addition, I was the studio's in-house technician, installing, updating, and resolving issues related to technologies such as desktops, printers, monitors, peripherals, software, and more.

Support Technician

June 2013 - August 2015

Job Description: Installing, updating, repairing, and maintaining technologies (desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, Microsoft Office software, etc.) for manager's use in her home office. In addition, I also created and updated documentation for management on using the technologies, created repositories and backups for digital record keeping, and maintained technical integrity from threats such as viruses and ransomware when problems arose.

Major Accomplishment: Converted years of transaction records (employee payments, reciepts from clients, contracts, etc.) from unstructrued paper documents in file cabinets into structured, updatable spreadsheets using Excel. These spreadsheets were used for internal auditing, budget balancing, graph creation to see sales figures over time, and many other purposes.

Website Developer

Koto's Japanese Restaraunt, Taylorsville, NC

2016

Job Description: Designed and developed a website for Koto's Japanese Restaurant for the purpose of attracting more customers. Also provided SEO support in order to make the website more noticeable on search engines.

Major Accomplishment: As a result of building this website, Koto's Japanese Restaurant has gained more consumers since the website's creation, and has become one of the most popular restaraunts in Taylorsville, NC.
